With each edition, the Creators Lab strengthens its position as a space where creativity meets opportunity.

The DJ Edition is expected to deliver an immersive experience for both upcoming and established DJs. At the centre of the event is a masterclass led by renowned DJ Maintain, who will share insights into his craft, help participants sharpen their skills, and guide them through the demands of professional DJing.

DJ Maintain is widely regarded as one of Uganda’s most influential DJs, recognised for his versatility, technical skill, and ability to read and energise diverse crowds.

Over the years, he has performed at major events, clubs, and festivals, earning a reputation for seamlessly blending genres and setting trends within the local music scene.

Beyond performance, he has also played a mentoring role for emerging talent.

The night will also feature performances from DJs including EL DJ, Smol Eyez, DJ Simon, Shie Money, Jean, AO The Walker, and Eyo Mackus, alongside host MC Saint Trevor. Together, they will deliver a mix of sounds reflecting the diversity shaping Uganda’s DJ culture.

Speaking ahead of the event, Guinness Brand Manager Denise Paula Nazzinda said the platform is designed to help DJs grow and define their craft.

“Real DJs do not follow trends, they create them. The Guinness Smooth Creators Lab DJ Edition is about giving DJs a space to learn, connect, and push their creativity further. Through platforms like this, we are committed to empowering the next generation of talent to take ownership of their craft and shape the future of Uganda’s music culture,” she said.

From hands-on learning to high-energy performances, the Creators Lab DJ Edition promises a blend of education, entertainment, and networking.

As the series expands across fashion, sport, music, and digital culture, it continues to position itself as a key platform for emerging creative talent in Uganda.
